v-day : : mensa style

When it comes to cooking and baking, I'm my own worst critic--particularly where icing/decorating is concerned. But the next time I'm feeling a little "baking-challenged," I'll refer to these V-Day masterpieces (not surprisingly, all images from Cake Wrecks).

Perhaps a tad "forward," but sometimes it's best to cut to the chase:


"Valentain." Maybe that's the French spelling?


This one is Quality, with a capital Q:


Notice that the savvy pastry chef actually had a model (pink stick on the left side of the cookie) for reference, yet still couldn't get the job done:


Nothing says "I love you" like butterfly turds doing their thing across the top of a white sheet cake:
