saturday at the farm patch

Yesterday's weather was gorgeous, with an almost cloudless sky and an ever-present breeze--the perfect backdrop for a morning spent at the Farm Patch Market in Bryan, TX and an afternoon filled with springime planting back at home (my sunburned shoulders & face are another story ....).

I love the Farm Patch--from their local honeys, salsas, and dressings, to the amazingly beautiful pots of herbs, flowers, and shrubs. And of course I left with bags filled to the top with tasty organic fruits and veggies from our Texas farmers. Just walking up and down it's aisles is a treat in itself.

  1. I am so jealous! That place looks fabulous. I love the Farmer's Market and could spend an entire day shopping for all kinds of goodies. The Texas grapefruit looks delish as do all the vegetables. Beautiful flowers, too.

I wish I could start my planting. It's one of my favorite things to do. So worth a sunburn! :)
