football wines

Some good suggestions ... except they didn't provide a pairing for Double Dave's 'peproni' rolls. I'd nix their meatballs option (who serves meatballs anyway?) but stick with a Cabernet Sauvignon.

From Messina Hof Winery's blog:

Love your red or white wine but not sure what to drink with it during Football Season? Here are some great food pairings to have at your upcoming parties!

Spinach & Mushroom Puff Pastry – Merlot
Crab and Artichoke Dip – Chardonnay
Spicy Wings – Zinfandel or Shiraz
Meatballs – Cabernet Sauvignon
Even Classic Burgers – Pinot Noir
Chili – Zinfandel

Also noticeably absent: sparkling wines of any kind -- the very essence of a celebratory occasion -- particularly on gameday mornings, when mixed with orange juice or peach schnapps.

Regardless of one's beverage of choice, I'm lifting my glass to college football.

Gig'em.

  1. I think you should make the Spinach & Mushroom Puff Pastry for the tailgate.

  2. It should be noted that whilst ordering papers for sale at paper writing service, you can get unkind attitude. In case you feel that the bureau is trying to cheat you, don't buy term paper from it. เว็บพนันบอล ฝากขั้นต่ํา100
